About me
I was born and raised in The Netherlands, I lived in Scotland and am now based in Providence, Rhode Island in the United States.
I hold an M.Phil. in Urban Policy from Glasgow University, Scotland (2000) and a M.A. in Archaeology from Leiden University, the Netherlands (1992). I have published an article based on my M.A. dissertation in an academic journal: Çevik, A., 1995, Social meanings of household spaces, in Archaeological Dialogues 2(1), 39-50.
Since 2013 I am a participant in the S'Urachi Project in San Vero Milis on the island of Sardinia.
